Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking.. The Chapel at Weston Farm is a unique detached two bedroom stone house. Formerly the chapel for the entire Weston Farm, this characterful building dates back several centuries. The house is set on a working dairy farm amidst the rolling hills and stunning rural valleys of Somerset.
Once inside this eclectic property you will be welcomed by the effortless flow between the period characteristics and modern amenities. The beautiful slate floor is warmed by underfloor heating, and the rustic exposed walls, an original bread oven, wood burner and wooden beams all mix timelessly with the clean lines of contemporary design and use of space.
The Chapel has a large private garden. Just off the kitchen and main entrance of the house, there is a double sided patio which is partially covered by a veranda perfect for you to relax and enjoy a morning coffee or an evening drink in this most serene and tranquil setting.
The property is only five minutes from the market town centre of Chard, the birthplace of powered flight. There you will find shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Set in South Somerset, Chard is near to both the Devon and Dorset borders.

Cottage lovely but unfortunately our week fell on the hottest week of the year so far. We were unlucky because the kitchen & downstairs bedroom was like a furnace with the large glass windows. The fans supplied were insufficient. We couldn't stray to far because of the dogs i would stay again if I knew the weather wasn't of the scale hot outside

17:00hrs is too late for arrivals, and 09:00 is too early for departure. Steps to upstairs bedroom were too small when coming down them. Downstairs bedroom mattress was too hard but had to use due small steps to upstairs. Directions to the cottage were only understandable if you knew the area, had to call owner and still got sent the wrong way. Access to the cottage is along a 200 yard pothole strewn concrete driveway.

Our 5th year staying at The Chapel. A beautiful property set in lovely fields surrounded by horses, cows and sheep. A perfect location to relax and ample grounds for the dogs to enjoy. A welcoming log burner for those chilly evenings and a large luxurious bedroom ensures a great nights sleep. The location is perfect … with Lyme Regis and Sidmouth a short journey away… and a visit to Foorde Abbey is highly recommended. A lovely stroll along the beautiful country lane of Wambrook is always a favourite of ours … with welcome refreshments at The Cotley Inn. Cannot wait to return.
