Woodlands is a warm, spacious family property located in a rural area, just outside the village of Langford Budville in Somerset adjacent to a small garden nursery, and has an adjoining 220-acre nature reserve. This semi-detached property, which is quite private and not overlooked, is set between woodland and open countryside, with panoramic views to the Blackdown Hills in the lovely vale of Taunton Deane, on the Somerset/Devon border.
Woodlands has everything you need for a family holiday. It is well equipped for children, with children’s toys, games and DVDs, and even direct access to a shared playground with swings and slides. Guests can relax in the heated, outdoor 6-person hot tub in the garden, even in the winter time as it has a roof cover. Pure luxury! There is also a corner whirlpool bath in the main bathroom, a shower in one of the bedrooms which is en-suite, and another in a separate shower room. Coffee, cakes and light lunches are served in the cafe nearby and the village pub is within walking distance with real ales, open fires and good food.

Woodlands was a beautiful place to stay. A welcome hamper for humans and fur babies on arrival was very thoughtful. House was very comfortable as were the bedrooms. Kitchen was well equipped and thoroughly enjoyed cooking in there and eating alfresco in the gorgeous (contained )garden. Many an evening spent in the lovely hot tub overlooking the endless fields and stunning scenery. Local nursery/cafe was a pleasant place for both a breakfast and lunch, literally a 2 min walk. Local pub had good food a 7 min walk from house. Owner has thought of everything and goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome . A lovely HOT week in a heatwave spent at Woodlands, sat under the parasol enjoying the peace and tranquility of this holiday home.

What a fantastic place, A true home from home with everything carefully thought of.Very clean and comfortable with a stunning garden Not really a hot tub person but we ended up going in every day and loved it. The cafe up the road does delicious breakfast and lunches. The local pub is only 5 mins walk away and is dog friendly ( do book thought) the weather was just right and there's lots to do.We even found 2 dog friendly beaches that were empty so we could let our greyhound off the lead. Would recommend to all as a wonderful place for a relaxing holiday.

Large , fully enclosed garden and the dog box was loved by our poochWe loved the cottage, clean, spacious, everything we needed. Super comfy bed. Great location. Reserved parking great cafe which was dog friendly, with in walking distance. And of course, the hot tub with stunning views. So peaceful
