The converted, redbrick retreat forms part of a small complex of similar holiday homes. The property beautifully blends original features, such as exposed beams and tiled floors, with fabulous contemporary decor and homely touches. Step inside and straight into the grand entrance hall, with its double-height ceiling and impressive glass wall, flooding the space with natural light. Step back in time on a visit to the fascinating Shaftesbury Abbey Museum, or take a stroll to the top of the iconic Gold Hill to admire the chocolate-box cottages and stunning views across Blackmore Vale. There are some lovely walks to explore in and around the town, including the Shaftesbury Heritage Trail and The Great Wessex Way. Local attractions include Stourhead National Trust (12 miles) and Old Wardour Castle (5.5 miles).
