Lovingly restored to celebrate its agricultural past, original character is paired with contemporary interiors and modern comforts, creating a stylish contrast between old and new.
Step inside to a light and welcoming living space, with a comfortable sitting area for slow evenings together, a dining area and a well-equipped kitchen. Also on the ground floor is a spacious bedroom with twin 3' single beds, which can be configured as a king-size bed on request, alongside a separate shower room. Upstairs, a romantic bedroom is a real highlight. A king-size bed sits beneath the characterful roofline, with a Juliet balcony bringing in the surrounding countryside. The open en-suite bathroom adds a touch of indulgence, complete with a freestanding bath and separate walk-in shower; perfect for unwinding after a day spent exploring Suffolk.
Outside, The Parlour has its own private courtyard with garden furniture, offering a secluded spot for morning coffee or an evening drink. Guests can also enjoy Lodge Farm's shared tennis court, with miles of countryside waiting to be explored nearby. Peacefully positioned along a private track between the River Orwell and River Stour, The Parlour feels wonderfully tucked away while remaining just four miles from Ipswich. The renowned Suffolk Food Hall is less than a ten-minute drive away, with scenic walks, cycling, watersports and pretty Suffolk villages all within easy reach. Whether escaping for a romantic weekend or enjoying a countryside break with friends, The Parlour is a charming place to slow down and spend time together.
For larger gatherings, The Dairy can be booked alongside the adjoining Buttery and Parlour to form Lodge Farm, sleeping up to 12 guests. Interconnecting soundproofed doors allow the three cottages to be brought together while retaining the privacy of each individual property, making it particularly well suited to extended families and groups of friends.
