Beautiful place to stay. We are a large family with children. The location was beautiful and very safe for the kids. The house is lovely with every amenity you could ask for. Christine our host was lovely always on hand to answer any questions really helpful but never bothered us at all. Overall we would stay again and recommend it as a lovely base to explore the wonderful area.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. It is so remote and completely isolated in its own little ‘field’ at the end of a private drive. A short walk to Alton waters, which was too hot to stay for long when we went (with dogs and children) but looked beautiful! Stunning walk too. The local amenities, including pubs (Butt and oyster) and a Chinese takeaway (Lee’s cottage) and plenty more to explore. (We loved Felixstowe beach, Shotley Marina) The house itself was the best equipped house I have stayed at. The kitchen particularly was excellent and offered everything we needed. The garden was quiet, stunning views and just a lovely place to enjoy. We had 2 dogs with us, both of who we felt safe to leave and wander the well enclosed garden that was very dog orientated with dog treats, toys, poo bags! A dog owners dream! We really loved it, and honestly cannot recommend it enough!
