Parking on site.. Nestling on Suffolk’s Heritage Coast, near the seaside fishing village of Dunwich and on the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is The Cart Shed. It is a cosy barn conversion, with double and single bedrooms, and an open plan kitchen/dining/living area with a wood burner. There are views over open fields and woods from the cottage, which is one of a small cluster within the grounds of the owner’s home. These comfortable conversions are within easy reach of forest, heath and beaches and lie in a secluded rural setting on the edge of an aonb.
Visitors can enjoy walks and wildlife at Dunwich Forest, just a short walk away, or rspb Minsmere. Walberswick, with its sandy beach and dunes, the elegant resort of Southwold, Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are all nearby. Shooting, fishing, and archery are only 1 mile away. Beach 4¼ miles. Shop 2 miles, pub, and restaurant 2 miles.. Both properties: Oil central heating (£15per week September-May poa). Electricity, bed linen and towels included. Initial fuel for wood burner included. included. Cot and highchair. Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer (Shared). 1, Dust and cobwebs everywhere2, No hoover 3, Grease on top of the kitchen cupboards 4, Daughter found a blood pressure tablet under the front of the sofa which was in easy reach of our dog5, Mattresses in both bedrooms poor quality and extremely uncomfortable 6, L shape corner sofa which massively sunk in 2 places which made it extremely uncomfortable 7, The sliding component that holds the shower head was broken and the plug in the bath wasn't stopping the water from seeping out while trying to enjoying a bath8, Dog poop from the owners dog and it had been there a while,when your expected to clean up after your own dogWe have have stayed at many of your other places over the year's which were 10/10 for less money

It was a lovely quiet setting and the owner was very welcoming.The Cart was very comfortable but a few more cups/mugs would have meant we could make better use of the dishwasher.Exiting from the site was slightly dangerous as visibility to the left was not good. Albeit the road was quiet we had a couple of near misses so maybe some hedge cutting would help.Overall a good experience of the Suffolk countryside and all it has to offer.
