Guests say

The Coach House is a charming, spacious cottage in a peaceful rural setting, ideal for those seeking tranquillity and wildlife. Guests praise its unique decor, cleanliness, and well-equipped kitchen, with lovely woodland walks perfect for dog owners. While the lack of enclosed garden and occasional weak WiFi are noted, the property’s character, comfort, and thoughtful touches make it a delightful retreat. Local amenities require a short drive, but the location is convenient for exploring Suffolk’s coast and countryside.

Multiple reviews highlight the cottage as very clean and well maintained, with no significant complaints about cleanliness.

The rural, secluded location is highly praised for peace and access to nature, though some mention the need to drive for shops and proximity to the A12. Overall, guests appreciate the setting for relaxation and exploring Suffolk.

Guests find the cottage spacious, warm, and relaxing, with underfloor heating and a log burner. However, several mention the double bed is small and could be upgraded for better comfort.

The cottage is well equipped with quality kitchen and bathroom facilities, and the woodland walk is a bonus. Some guests note the lack of enclosed garden for dogs, occasional missing kitchen items, and weak WiFi.

Guests appreciate thoughtful touches such as vintage decor and occasional welcome gifts like wine and chocolates, though these are not guaranteed for every stay.

Beautiful tranquil coach house, definitely peace and quiet guaranteed, the owners have retained many original building features which gives so much character, it has an enormous lounge and kitchen, which is well stocked with pots pans and utensils, all we were missing was an egg slice for our fried eggs, but we managed with a large spoon! Lots of room for parking and the most wonderful private woodland walk, which our Lurcher adored, right on your doorstep. It’s a haven for wildlife which can be viewed from the lounge. The only fault we could find was no enclosed garden, so we couldn’t leave the doors open, as the dog would have been off! Also, it didn’t bother us, but some may struggle with lack of WiFi, it’s there, but very weak signal. All in all we had a wonderful relaxing break and would definitely consider returning at a later date, possibly a winter break.
