The ground floor also has a family bathroom and a separate wet room, along with two colourful, relaxing bedrooms: one double and a twin. Upstairs there’s a single bedroom with a low sloping ceiling, and a seating area opening out onto a balcony with far-reaching sea views. Outside, the pretty garden has a small lawn, an array of attractive shrubs and a patio with garden furniture, making a lovely space to sit out on a sunny day and enjoy a BBQ.

Walberswick has some friendly pubs and restaurants as well as a pretty beach and is just across the River Blyth from the popular seaside town of Southwold. Ideally reached via a short ferry trip, Southwold (1.5 miles) has a lovely beach, a lighthouse and model boat pond, some wonderful boutique shops and galleries, as well as a vintage cinema and the popular Southwold Maize Maze. Also nearby are RSPB Minsmere (8.5 miles) and Henstead Exotic Gardens (11 miles).
