This semi-detached cottage benefits from a recently re-fitted kitchen and offers all the latest appliances. The living room is spacious with a wood burner and a Smart TV, along with comfy sofas. A light and airy dining area has sliding doors that open onto the rear garden with a raised decking area along with seating, ideal for al fresco dining. The first floor offers two well-proportioned bedrooms and a family bathroom.

The town of Halesworth is conveniently located within a very short driving distance, and offers many independent shops, public houses, restaurants and a supermarket. Blyford is a pretty village with an excellent country pub within walking distance of the cottage, which serves food and local ales.
There are coastal resorts and nature reserves within easy reach. Blyford is only 7 miles from Southwold and Walberswick, with Minsmere approximately 8 miles away. The Norfolk Broads and many beauty spots can be found within half an hour’s drive. Halesworth, 4 miles away, has a regular train service from Norwich and London. There is a regular bus service through the village to Southwold and Lowestoft. Beach 7 miles. Pub and restaurant ¾ miles.

Laurel cottage was very well maintained. The interior was well designed and light and airy. The open plan kitchen area looked like it had recently been refurbished. The layout worked well, It is in a good location to travel to the nearby town of Halesworth and within easy reach of Southwold, RSPB Minsmere, Carlton Marshes and lots of other interesting places. We had a car but the local bus stops if you put your hand out and there is a train station at Halesworth. The local pub was really nice and we had a late lunch there on the Saturday. Unfortunately the last day of opening was Sunday as it was closing due to new buyers taking over. We found the bed a little uncomfortable but you can never get a perfect match to suit everyone’s needs. The garden was well enclosed so our little dog could not escape. It was the perfect place to sit in the morning in the sunshine. Very clean.
