With a nearby pub serving good food and drink, there is plenty of refreshment to be had after a day on the beach or exploring the area.
Pakefield is a popular coastal village close to Lowestoft and ideally located to enjoy all the Suffolk Heritage Coast has to offer. For days out visit Southwold, Aldeburgh, rspb Minismere, Lowestoft and the Norfolk Broads National Park. There is golf and fishing available within 5 miles. Beach 150 yards. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant ¾ mile.

We had a lovely comfortable stay. The bungalow is so cosy and has everything you need. And, just a 5 minute walk to the fabulous beach! We will definitely come back again.

The pictures on site are nothing like the real thing vastly overgrown garden , the lounge the dining table in an alcove blocked in by a heavy armchair, the chairs in the opposite alcove blocked in by one of the 2 large setees, everything overcrowded . Laminate flooring in the lounge hall and bedrooms very badly fitted with ends sticking up all over although parts covered by rugs both types a trip hazard waiting to happen.Sorry but the photographs are nothing like, everything badly overgrown or overcrowded (actually false advertising?) a makeover drastically gone wrong. Will not be returning unfortunately.

Great location in this lovely bungalow, enough space and equipment for us as 2 couples. Few minutes walk to the beach and a few minutes more to The Odd fellows Arms. Very welcoming, dog friendly with great drinks offer and would highly recommend the pizzas. And a delicious welcome gift left by our host, along with milk and bread and some other little bits to keep us going. Would stay again, thank you!
