Inside, you’ll find a spacious kitchen and dining area, as well as a comfortable sitting room with a wood burning stove, perfect for those cosy evenings for two. There are lovely walks right from the front door – and a two-minute stroll takes you to an award-winning restaurant, Old Downton Lodge.
The views from the cottage and the patio outside are breathtaking, ranging across the rolling countryside. The Downton Estate stretches for nearly 5,000 acres across the picturesque hilly and wooded countryside of Herefordshire and Shropshire. The market town of Ludlow is just four miles away and is an architectural gem, with a historic castle perched on a cliff looking out above the River Teme.

Gorgeous barn, super clean and comfortable ans located in an idyllic quiet location. Lots of grouse and pheasants around during October which entertained the dogs no end! Would absolutely stay again!
