Depending on the time of year, horses and sheep could be grazing in the surrounding fields. The River Wye is just 2 miles away, where you can hire a canoe on one of the quietest parts of the river, or join the Wye Valley Walk, a trail that criss-crosses the England-Wales border. Pop the city of Hereford (10.5 miles) on your itinerary, perhaps browsing the open-air markets and admiring the cathedral during your visit. Symonds Yat (11.5 miles) is a haven for water sports enthusiasts, while the medieval Goodrich Castle (11 miles) is an awe-inspiring sight. Just 17.5 miles away is Puzzlewood, a fascinating woodland that’s been used as a filming location, and the market town of Ross-on-Wye (8.5 miles) is well worth exploring.
This hut has been thoughtfully positioned to make the most of the spectacular views. Inside, the accommodation has a welcoming, rustic charm. The compact kitchen area offers everything that you may need during your stay, along with a table for two. Tucked in the corner is a wood burner-effect electric fire, which will keep the hut cosy on chilly evenings. A double bed lies across one end of the hut, and a shower room fills the opposite end.
Relax and unwind in your private garden, which is enclosed so dogs can explore safely. The four seater picnic bench is the perfect spot for a morning coffee or evening meal. Seating is also arranged around the fire pit, which has a swing arm for BBQs. The property has parking for one car.
