Truly generous in every way, we loved the enormous windows which let light flood in throughout the house. With heaps to explore in the surrounding area, the house is close toThe Mortimer Trail which runs through the Welsh Marches and many other gorgeous walks for all levels. Offa's Dyke, the natural border between England and Wales, is close by too. Hay on Wye is home to the internationally acclaimed Hay Festival at the end of May each year, and is easily reached from the property.
Nearby Presteigne and Kington have thriving craft industries, and Hereford, with its beautiful Cathedral housing The Mappa Mundi, is also within easy reach. Nearby attractions include Croft Castle, which is worth a trip with a picnic has 1500 acres of woodland and parkland.
