This traditional semi-detached brick-built Victorian farm cottage stands in a rural location in the hamlet of Eudon Burnell, surrounded by the owner's 330 acre arable farm, situated amongst the lovely Shropshire countryside, 3 miles south of Bridgnorth. This holiday cottage near Bridgnorth is ideal for an all year round family holiday, or for a couple wanting a quiet countryside retreat. Offering comfortable accommodation throughout, this cottage near Bridgnorth is made even more welcoming by the woodburning stove, perfect for relaxing in front of after a day exploring the Shropshire countryside. The private lawned garden is ideal for enjoying alfresco dining, or just sitting with a drink after a day exploring the many attractions of the area. This cottage near Bridgnorth is on the Jack Mytton bridle path and close to a national cycle route, offering guests excellent walking and cycling opportunities from the doorstep. There is also an excellent choice of fishing lakes in the immediate area around this cottage near Bridgnorth. The pretty market town of Bridgnorth is easily reached, and boasts many individual shops, traditional pubs and excellent restaurants, whilst a little further afield is the famous medieval town of Ludlow, pretty Church Stretton, known as Little Switzerland, many National Trust properties and the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site. This cottage is a wonderful holiday destination for a memorable stay in the beautiful Shropshire countryside.

Bridgnorth is an interesting market town of two distinct halves separated by a red sandtone ridge - The High Town and the Low Town. The two halves are linked by meandering streets and steep steps, and the sheer funicular railway allows visitors to glimpse "the finest view in all my kingdom", as Charles I put it. There is a lively Saturday market which showcases the local fayre, and the River Severn which flows beneath the precipitous castle ruins offers many lovely walks. The steam and diesel engines of the Severn Valley Railway run between Bridgnorth and Kidderminster through pretty country stations. Bridgnorth is surrounded by an abundance of country parks, historic houses, interesting museums and chocolate box Shropshire villages, and also affords ease of access to the 10 museums of Ironbridge Gorge and the Royal Air Force Museum at Cosford. The vibrant destinations of Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Church Stretton are within easy reach, and the surrounding area offers its visitor superb walking and cycling opportunities.
