Home to a 70-hectare area of mixed woodland and heathland to explore; that’s about the size of 140 football pitches! There is a wealth of historical features and wildlife on the site and an extensive network of paths to explore. Ten miles away is Shrewsbury, full of finds to be discovered by foot or by boat, the café culture, farmer’s market, the castle and the churches that dominate Shrewsbury’s famous skyline are a must see. We stayed here at the beginning of August and it was perfect, we was looking for a quiet summer get away where we could explore during the day and have a quiet place to relax on an evening. The barn is modern and well decorated with everything you need in the kitchen area. We forgot to bring some matches to light our bbqs we rang Debbie and she came straight over with some for us so we could enjoy our food outside on the patio. The location is very peaceful and private, the hot tub was also fantastic.We and our little dog really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be looking to visiting again soon.
