Waterworld swimming pool, china factory tours, museums, steam railways, Alton Towers, Biddulph Grange Gardens and Little Moreton Hall (National Trust) are within 10 miles. The cottage was lovely. Very clean and right on the canal and the Hollybush Inn served lovely food with a lovely atmosphere. There was just one negative. The heating is controlled by the owner which came on morning and evening and there was plenty of wood for the fire but the bathroom was quite cold when I wanted a bath after a days walking but we still had a lovely week❤️

The cottage is a lovely place to stay , its very clean with everything you might need . Its so peaceful . I think we could live here .The kitchen is well equipped if you feel like cooking , or the pub a few doors away does lovely food .Having the canal right on your doorstep is fantastic, plenty of walks to go on . I would absolutely recommend staying here if you need to realx and unwind .

Cottage is well kept and nicely decorated. Nice location and we enjoyed several walks, a trip to Wedgwood and visited the Gladstone Pottery Museum. Had everything we needed during our stay. Cottage was lovely and warm when we got up in the morning amd when we returned at the end of our day out. Only disappointment was that radiators went off during the late afternoon or early evening meaning showers in cold bathroom, but we adapted to it. Presume this is due to guests taking advantage of the open fire during the evening, as we did. It made the evenings very cosy and we were very comfortable. No Visitor Book which is a shame as always interesting to read other guests experiences and recommendations for eating out etc.
