Very comfortable well equipped clean lodge. Bed extremely comfy.There in the heatwave so very much appreciated the 2 fans and cool air unit. The American fridge with ice dispenser also very welcome in the heat. Great to relax on the verandha watching the boats and paddle boarders go pass from our river front location. Thank you for the welcome pack. Our dog enjoyed himself too meeting other dogs on site. The site was very well kept. We hope to return next year.

Although the lodge was excellent in so many ways the cleanliness let it down, the decking hadn’t been cleaned for weeks with the amount of cobwebs and dirt around the doors and posts etc. inside there was also a lot of cobwebs hanging from ceiling and walls. The corners behind doors and in frames were dirty. A few of the blinds weren’t working properly. No bags in waste bins in bathrooms. The oven wasn’t very clean and caused a burning, smoky smell when using.A guest information book would be helpful, to find refuge facilities, shop etc.The lodge was lovely and we had a lovely holiday but the cleanliness has put us off making another reservation.
