The Old Grocery is a quintessentially English holiday cottage in the heart of Broadway in the Cotswolds, a short walk from cafes and pubs like the welcoming Swan Inn. Imagine sitting with a pot of tea as you admire the stunning curved bay windows adorned with handmade glass panes, transporting you to a time when this cottage welcomed villagers over the threshold and into a bustling store. The Old Grocery's warmth and charm are tangible, and its layout is designed for comfort and connection. Enjoy your privacy in one of three ensuite bedrooms, and spend time with family and friends in a spacious dining room, a cosy living room, and a private garden. You'll appreciate its prime location in this picture-perfect village close to favourite walks and Cotswold attractions.

Broadway stands out as a gem even in a place known for its beauty. The Old Grocery is just one of dozens of gorgeous Cotswold limestone properties whose golden hue brightens the view even in the depths of winter. It's well-known with walkers who pass through as they walk the long-distance Cotswold Way between Bath and Chipping Campden, though you don't have to walk far to appreciate the rolling green wolds surrounding the village. With beautiful horse chestnut trees and a landscape unchanged for generations, walking to and from your cottage on Broadway High Street will feel as if you're on the set of a period drama!

There are many excellent reasons to choose Broadway as the location for your self-catering holiday in the Cotswolds. It is beautiful, but it's handy for attractions that include National Trust properties and gardens like those at Snowshill, Cotswold Wildlife Park, Adam Henson's Cotswold's Farm Park, and the Cotswold Lavender fields. Walk to Broadway Tower and admire the blend of Indian and English architecture at Sezincote House. Leave the car and take a sightseeing ride on the Gloucestershire Steam Railway, cycle or trek along bridleways, or hire a vintage motor to drive along country lanes in style.

The Old Grocery is self-contained and private, sleeping up to six people. If you need more space, consider booking it with the neighbouring Old House (sleeps 4) and/or The Granary (sleeps 2). The owner's website has more information.
