Set in an elevated position overlooking the gorgeous green landscapes of the West Yorkshire countryside, is this picture postcard property, Box Tree Cottage. Renovated to a high standard throughout whilst retaining character and charm from many original features and traditional furnishings, this striking stone dwelling is perfectly suited to a family or group of four travelling with their canine companions to this spectacular part of the country. Leave your mud-splattered boots by the door and place your coats to hang in the vestibule, before retreating to the blissful sitting room to relax and unwind whilst the heat of the arresting woodburning stove warms your feet. Cross the gorgeous, tiled floor to the delightful kitchen/diner, home to a good selection of appliances such as an electric cooker with hob, sure to inspire many delicious home-cooked meals throughout your stay. The attention to detail was the best we have stayed in and we have stayed in a lot over the last 15years. It was cosy and warm with the soft lighting and wood burner and the bonus of snow made it a wonderful winter retreat. The beds were super comfy but we were a little surprised that the beds were not made up on arrival but we soon found the bed linen and towels in the cupboard on the landing. Thank you for letting use your wonderful cottage.

This cottage was clean and comfortable and a joy to come back to every day. The beds were extremely comfortable which isnât always the case in a holiday rental. All the fixtures and fittings are good quality. The showers are amazing and so are the views. The owner Martine went over and above for us as the wi-if was down for the first few days and she kept us updated every day. Also we discovered that there wasnât really any child friendly plates or cups and I mentioned this to her as my 3 year old granddaughter was struggling a bit with the big glasses and we didnât want her to break anything. 2 days later a lovely cup and plate arrived in the post for her with a lovely note from Martine. Such a lovely thing to do. We would definitely recommend this cottage and hope to return when we next visit Yorkshire.
