The majority of guests consistently describe the lodge as very clean, spotless, and well-presented. Only a handful of reviews mention minor issues, but these do not detract from the overall high standard of cleanliness.

As already mentioned in latest review although advertised there was no welcome pack. Not even a pint of milk to make a drink on arrival. Only 1 dishwasher tablet 1 handwash and 2 tolilet rolls for 5 for a week. Table only had 4 chairs . The knob on shower falls off if you use it. Shower is incredibly difficult to turn off. There were only 3 Sewerby passes you cannot use .You need a code to access park thru the site gate. Not spoilt the holiday we had a lovely week.Enjoyed sitting on deck watching the ducks passing by each night. This is just so future holidaymakers know what they need to bring with them. The other things are easily fixable.

Enjoyed our time at Sunflower lodge. It is as stated on a very quiet site. The wildlife seen was amazing. However the lodge itself needs a few things sorting. The shower didn’t turn off properly, the shower door didn’t close and the knob on the door fell off everything on opening/closing. The latch on the gate is hanging off. The bins are a good walk away and were horribly overfilled with rubbish thrown at the sides. There are only 4 dining chairs so a couple of us had to eat our meals on our laps on the sofa. The bedrooms were lovely and the beds very comfortable. There was no welcome pack as stated on the lodge description. Don’t forget to take with you toilet rolls, washing up liquid and/or dishwasher tablets and bin bags.

We stayed at the Lodge for a week and had a great time .We have stayed at the holiday park numerous times now and the location is good with a lot to do within walking distance .The Lodge was well kept and clean but missing a few essentials like an iron ,welcome pack etc We had great weather and it would have been great to have a parasol for the terrace .All the items mentioned can be taken with you if you know they are not there .Communication was good with the owner and I would not hesitate to stay again.
