This well-presented lodge is situated on Heritage Park, which is part the Bridlington Links Golf and Leisure Estate. Just a couple of minutes’ walk, through adjoining woods, leads to the coastal path between Bridlington and Flamborough Head.
A gate on-site gives access to the magnificent Sewerby Hall and Gardens. With many attractions and in-season entertainment, for both adults and children. One family pass to Sewerby Park is included for guests at this property (for four people) and children will love the adventure playground and zoo.
This property offers an ideal holiday base and is decorated with a Christmas theme during the festive season. The clifftop golf course is one of the five Yorkshire golf courses included in the ‘Golf Coast Passport’ giving visitors a unique opportunity to play at each course over a seven day period. The land train runs regularly from here to the traditional resort of Bridlington and its miles of sandy beaches. Visit Flamborough’s famous lighthouse and catch sight of numerous seabirds and puffins at the rspb Nature Reserve at Bempton Cliffs. Step back in time at stately homes in Burton Agnes, Sledmere and Burton Constable and explore the quaint villages and stunning scenery of the Yorkshire Wolds and Moors. overall the lodge was quite poor, there were some cleanliness issues cobwebs in bathrooms, bedroom and living room, the bed was really uncomfortable, the sheets did not fit correctly they kept coming off, the shower head in main on suite needs a good clean it was full of limescale and round the runners of the door need a good clean. the living room decor was very basic, the couches have seen better days, carpet badly stained near patio doors. The toaster needs replacing as it was very brown and burnt like, the whole lodge looked a little tired and dated. The wifi is not very good it keeps buffering. The decking furniture was a let down it was very uncomfortable, and for the price we paid it was a let down and we left a day early.

Lovely site very peaceful. The double bed was a bit hard and nicer sheets are needed. The pans in the kitchen could do with updating and certainly some better outdoor furniture.

Excellent stay in a wonderful location.The Gatehouse was exactly as described. Plenty of space within, well equipped kitchen with everything you need. Good sized bedrooms and the benefit of 2 bathrooms so no fighting for showers in the morning. Clean and well kept throughout.Would definitely stay here again.
