Overall, I am so pleased, in terms of convience, the annex had it all. The welcome pack, even down to having shower gel in the bathroom was great. The only thing I struggled with, I know it is dog friendly - but everything really did smell of dog. The sofa/cushions etc. We have 2 x mini cavapoo's who don't malt as I am allergic to a lot of other dog breeds, so this was quite tough and I did need antihistamines for the whole duration of the stay. The bedroom window was always soaked too, I'm not sure if this was condensation but it made the bedroom damp. As a family of 4, I wouldn't stay again as it was just too small. We was out majority of the time and it was a great base - Close to a lot. But I probably wouldn't recommend if you have children, for a couple it would be great. Overall, it was a good stay. I do feel the cleanliness could be improved slightly but we was very grateful for the welcome pack and it was a comfortable stay.

(5-8 October) Lovely clean comfortable accommodation with everything we needed. A very warm welcome on arrival and fresh eggs for our breakfast too. Highly recommended and we shall definitely return for another longer stay.

Lovely cottage, Anne was lovely, sofa bed in the sitting room wasn't particularly comfortable but definitely come back if we're up that way again
