Situated in the living room, a feature wood burner makes this property perfect for the colder, winter months. After a busy day exploring this delightful location, head back to the property, and snuggle into the comfortable sofas, where you can watch the flames dance around the fire.

Our third and not last visit to The Chapel. It is always a joy to be there. The space and the thoughtful fittings and decor make is a gorgeous place to spend time in. There are details that need addressing: those noted in the booklet when we visited in June remain unattended to and the notebook has gone so I couldn’t record the extra details of the lamp in the blue bedroom not working (probably the bulb but we could find no spare to check) and the hob making odd sounds and switching itself off repeatedly which definitely needs checking. We still look forward to our booked holiday next August very much and seeing the place at it’s very best.

Really spacious well equipped cottage. Great for a multi generational holiday as loads of room. Games room a real bonus. Kitchen brilliantly equipped, Nespresso pod machine included. Very clean throughout. Garden great for sitting with a glass of wine in the evening sun. Also very close to welcoming, friendly local pub. Such a quiet relaxing location.Fantastic location for dog walking with loads of brilliant walks from the door. Close to Leyburn and Hawes for shopping, and Wensleydale Ice Cream parlour (5 mins drive) was a real hit.
