Nestling in its own private lawn garden, this single story detached property is situated on the edge of the pretty village of East Witton within a short stroll of the village green. The Paddock is comfortably furnished and well equipped, providing an ideal retreat for couples or friends and families wishing to relax and unwind in this glorious area of lower Wensleydale. This is a perfect location for exploring the many attractions that the area has to offer visitors to the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Take time to explore the nearby Jervaulx Abbey and grounds, Castle Bolton, Middleham Castle (once home to Richard III, The Forbidden corner and the picturesque water falls at Aysgarth complete with scenic walks. Lovers of the countryside will find delightful gentle rambles from the door or more strenuous hikes in the limestone areas. The market town of Leyburn 4 miles away has restaurants, pubs, tea rooms, traditional shops and galleries to browse around arranged around the market square. There is also easy access into the head of Wharfedale and into Swaledale. Conveniently close to the property there is a village inn with a restaurant renowned for its food and the nearby villages have character pubs serving Yorkshire beers and good food.

Perfect bungalow to stay. Two pubs nearby to eat. Nice place to explore the Yorkshire Dales. Large garden to sit in.

This is a lovely bungalow with a fantastic garden, wonderful for birds and a dog. Very peaceful. A few housekeeping issues which we drew attention to in the visitors book so hopefully they have been addressed. Unfortunately the chair and sofas are very deep and as i am only 5'2" they didnt provide the right support and i developed a backache which lasted the entire holiday. Some cushions would solve this and is an easy fix. Please note there are 2 steps up at the front and 4 (from memory) at the rear. Plenty of utensils, pots and pans etc. There are books and dvds available if required.
