Beautiful footpaths and bridleways abound in this idyllic location at the base of the Gypsey Race Valley, providing great chances for walking and wildlife observation. Sledmere House and Gardens, a stunning historical sanctuary, and the premier stately home in the Yorkshire Wolds, is close by and makes for a wonderful day trip.
