Only suggestion would be to have logs all cut for the log burning stove . The previous owners always had an abundance of logs in the shed all cut . Having said that we will be back again.

a nice and cosy place to stay for sure, The only negative was the bins outside full of waste needed removing, and the property needed a sign erecting hard to find for most people!

We had no hot water on arrival or next morning, it was slightly lukewarm. There are no instructions or information in the cottage and no number to contact if you have a problem. I went on to Sykes website to look at reviews to see if anyone else had had a problem and whether they resolved it. There were two reports of problems in June. We had to go on line to find instructions for boiler and managed to sort it out. This is not really appropriate, there should be a contact number, even if only so owner can talk you through problem. Otherwise cottage as expected. Location is great for exploring area from east to west etc. Plenty of walks and lovely scenery full of variation.
