Cook up delicious meals beneath the beams in the kitchen which has a Range cooker and a fabulous breakfast bar with four stools, great for guests to socialise while rustling up some food. Eat together in the bright and airy dining room. Get cosy in the characterful lounge which has ceiling beams and an exposed brick inglenook fireplace housing a wood burner. Warm up and watch your favourite movies on the TV. When you are ready to hit the hay, head upstairs to the four bedrooms. A master bedroom boasts a king-size bed, TV and a handy en-suite WC. The second bedroom contains a double bed, while the third has an ornate cast iron fireplace and twin beds. A fourth, single bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower over the bath completes the interior. Outside to the rear of the property is a large patio area with far-reaching countryside views, and steps that lead down to a lawned area lined with borders and shrubs and an additional seating area.

Within the village of Sleights, you will find a couple of pubs, a convenience store, family run bakery and butchers. There are many walking and cycling routes available from the property, and you can head along the Esk Valley Walk towards the bustling coastal town of Whitby (3.5 miles). Here, you will find an eclectic mix of independent shops, pubs, and restaurants, as well as some fabulous attractions such as the Captain Cook Museum and Whitby Abbey. There are excellent links to Whitby by train or bus.
