The final bedroom is set in the eaves on the second floor, and boasts sea views and an en-suite shower room. For movie nights, head down to the cinema room in the basement, with seating for five and a 3D Blu-ray player. Also in the basement is a record player and a games room with a pool table. Outside, there’s a small, enclosed courtyard with seating.

The property is perfectly placed for enjoying long, lazy beach days. Stroll down to West Cliff Beach to discover a popular, family-friendly beach with soft, golden sand and shallow waters for playing in the sea. For the full seaside experience, why not hire a beach hut for the day? Whitby’s historic harbour is 400 metres away and is a great spot for sampling fresh seafood or picking up some kippers for your supper from the old smokehouse. During summer, boat trips depart from here and you can go searching for whales and dolphins off the coast.
