Guests consistently praise the location, cleanliness, and the cosy, comfortable atmosphere. While the property is described as dated and in need of some updates, most visitors found it clean and well-equipped. Some minor maintenance issues and lack of WiFi were noted, but the stunning setting and peaceful environment more than make up for these shortcomings.

Most guests found the chalet clean and tidy, though a few mentioned musty smells and stained linen. Overall, cleanliness was generally satisfactory.

The location is repeatedly described as fantastic, with unbeatable sea views and immediate beach access. Ideal for sightseeing and dog walks.

The chalet is considered cosy and comfortable by most, with good seating and beds. Some guests noted issues like musty smells and a bathroom door that didn’t shut properly.

Facilities are functional but dated, with some maintenance needed (e.g., fencing, patio furniture, bathroom door). Lack of WiFi and limited phone signal were also mentioned.

There are no mentions of welcome gifts or extra thoughtful touches in the reviews, so a score cannot be provided for this category.

Pros- Lovely location with a very short (steep) walk to the beach or cliff walk. Chalet was acceptable if a little dated. ( I think it might be too small for a family of 4.) The owners were very friendly and quick to sort a minor issue. Cons - The patio needed weeding and the enclosed fence is only ok for larger dogs. Little ones would be able to get through.Double duvet cover had strong washing powder smell that set me off wheezing. The patio is not private as the public walk past to the beach.Would I go again? No. As a single female I felt vulnerable at night even with the dog.

Amazing location, pictures don’t do it justice. Cottage needs upgrading but everything was clean and working. There is not much of a phone signal and no WiFi. The views are stunning and the beach couldn’t have been nicer. Nicely positioned for lots of local sightseeing as long as you have a car. Would definitely consider returning
