A lovely, quirky holiday cottage. The facilities were immaculate and very comfortable. Storage space was ideal in the bedroom and in the kitchen little things like providing salt and pepper we're a helpful touch. The location was great for exploring York, Whitby and Scarborough and the local Chinese Restuarant was great. In Filey was a Tesco which was much cheaper than thd local co-op, but the co-op was good for things we missed. We had a lovely holiday.

What a beautiful, fun place to stay (dog-friendly)!Well-appointed with all one could need, including a dishwasher - wow!We loved the idea of preserving such a beautiful building in this way. Owner was very friendly and amenable.Quiet site with no fuss; a little road noise but nothing too intrusive. Easy walk to village centre. Hunmanby has a Co-Op for general essentials, a chip shop, butcher, pubs and so on. Hunmanby Gap - long, dog-friendly beach only 5mins drive. We very much recommend this quirky folly as a base for visiting N. Yorks.
