About this property

Resting at the heart of the seaside town of Scarborough, North Yorkshire, lies this delightful, two bedroom holiday home, 46 St. Mary's Walk. Boasting fantastic positioning to nearby amenities and attractions, including the North York Moors National Park, this property is ideal for a family seeking a fun-filled, self-catered stay in Yorkshire. Inside, you are greeted by a collection of well-decorated, tasteful living spaces, including a well-equipped kitchen where the chosen chef can rustle up tasty, home-cooked meals, and a well-presented living/dining room, complete with a dining table, plush sofas and a wall-mounted Smart TV, serving as the true social hub of the home. As the evenings grow darker, indulge in a refreshing shower or a long, hot bath before retreating to either a king-size or a twin bedroom, where you can relax and unwind ahead of a brand new day. After you've finished your morning coffee whilst sitting in the quaint rear courtyard, take time to explore Scarborough by taking a short stroll to nearby attractions such as Scarborough Castle, Royal Albert Park and Luna Park Scarborough, all locations just a stone's throw away from your charming lodgings. In the afternoon, stop for a pint (or a soft drink for the younger ones) at The Albert or McGinty's Irish pub, before settling down for dinner at Kam Sang or Lanterna Restaurant if you don't fancy cooking one evening. If you are seeking a more peaceful day out, spend a day lounging on the lush sands of Scarborough Beach or pack a picnic and go explore the vast wilderness of the North Riding Forest Park. The towns of Pickering and Whitby are also just a short drive away and both worth visiting whilst you're in the area. Bring your family for a memorable stay at 46 St. Mary’s Walk.

The bustling coastal town of Scarborough, which has been a favourite since the Victorian era, still has many of the original excellent structures, parks, and gardens, as well as its iconic castle that towers over the community. Two outstanding sections of lovely, golden sand beaches in North Bay and South Bay are very well-liked by families with young children. Many family-friendly activities are available, as well as several top-notch tourist attractions for adults, such as the Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough Spa, and the Scarborough Open Air Theatre for live music. With golf courses, excellent seaside walks along the Cleveland Way, stunning cycle paths like the former railway to Whitby, beautiful sailing, and championship-caliber surfing, Scarborough is a great place for outdoor activities. Scarborough is the destination with something for everyone when all the customary seaside amusement and busy promenades near to the shore are added. Scarborough is a great place to start a fun-filled holiday because it is ideally positioned for exploring the coastline and the moors.

It was very clean and warm with everything we needed for our stay. It was centrally situated very easy to get to south and north bay. Parking scratch card was ideal which was provided by the property owner. The welcome pack was lovely our dog loved her new toy. The Christmas decorations were lovely. Would definitely recommend this property.

Walking around Scarborough is therefore really easy. Parking permits are supplied for street parking which is a huge advantage. The property is comfortable and well maintained. Neighbours are friendly. We had a lovely short break in Scarborough.
