About this property

Robin Hood's Bay 2 miles. A delightful, stone-built, semi-detached barn conversion, situated in the rural hamlet of High Normanby, close to the pretty villages of Fylingthorpe and Robin Hood's Bay. Lovingly renovated to retain much of its original character, this former goat barn boasts a wealth of exposed timber, flagged floors and a beautiful vaulted ceiling in the cosy sitting area. Decorated and furnished to a very high standard, with a wonderful open plan living area, the property provides comfortable, light and airy accommodation perfectly situated for enjoying some excellent walks, including the nearby coastal paths and trails. Explore the delights of Robin Hood's Bay with its cobbled streets and quaint cottages or nearby Whitby, with its glorious sandy beaches and abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps. An excellent base for exploring all that the National Park and Yorkshire Coast have to offer. This property is next to Refs. 1067 and 3759 and together they accommodate 6.

With its narrow, cobbled streets and quaint cottages, Robin Hood's Bay is one of the most picturesque villages on the English coastline. Located between the thriving towns of Scarborough and Whitby, this charming fishing village is set at the edge of a sweeping bay backed by impressive cliffs and dramatic moorland. All visitors will love the beach and its cliff top walks, whilst more serious climbers can enjoy the many long distance trails that pass through the town such as the Cleveland Way, the Lyke Wake Walk and the Coast to Coast walks. The village amenities are superb and with charming alleyways to explore and plenty of places to rest, this makes a great location all year round.
