We had a lovely stay in this beautiful, spacious house. The kitchen was amazing, very well suited for preparing meals and spending time together. The bathrooms were lovely enjoyed the super king size beds in the bedrooms, which were a real bonus. However, the mattresses are looking as though they could do with being replaced soon. The living room was amazing little tired in comparison to the rest of the house. Unfortunately, the sofas weren’t particularly comfortable, and the room felt quite cold in the evenings, which made it less inviting to relax in.Overall a large property with some fantastic features, but a few small improvements to the living room and the mattresses would make the stay even better. The house is in a beautiful village with a lovely bakery and butchers which is a must to visit. The trains station is a few minutes walk down the road where you can catch the train in to Whitby. Parking outside the property is easy there was always somewhere for us to. Park after a day out.

Lovely home that's well presented. Plenty of space, comfortable surroundings & pretty well equipped - could do with a bigger freezer if 8 people are staying though.Easy parking right outside the property & good access to a whole load of places. The butchers in the village is amazing & the chippy is good too. With the train station 100 yards away, perfect to jump on the train to Whitby and also go & watch the steam trains come past a few times a day.
