This lovely three bedroom apartment is in a great location, with views over the estuary and towards the abbey, just a pleasant stroll away from the centre of Whitby. Picturesk is a first floor apartment where you can spend many an hour sat at the window watching the boats go by, or seeing the children learn to canoe. The communal grounds have some lovely sitting-out areas, as well as a small playground for the little ones. It’s not far to walk into the centre along the side of the estuary, you’ll find that you hardly need the car as it’s a perfect spot to get to all the amenities and see the sights of Whitby.
Walk up the famous Whitby Abbey, with its 199 steps to get to the top. You will see many children counting them as they take each step. The cobbled streets are full of little shops, especially the Whitby Jet jewellery shops. This black gemstone became very popular when Queen Victoria wore it when mourning for her husband. The black jewellery also attracts goths when they hold their famous weekend in Whitby.
The North Yorkshire Moors are on the doorstep, and the Cleveland Way passes through Whitby, so this is a great base for ramblers or hardened walkers. There’s so much to see and do, but if you do want to step outside of Whitby, why not go down the coast to Scarborough, or inland to the town of Pickering, famous for its steam railway. For all ages, Whitby is the perfect holiday spot.

Fantastic location with great views of the river ask running in to the harbour. Lots of wild life around to see. The apartment had everything we needed was very clean. It was a short walk up the street to the centre of the town which was great. Secure under apartment parking too although everything was easy accessible so we barely used the car. Will definitely book again.
