We stayed at shalom for 5 days and the beds and bedding were very clean and comfy, the carpet in the living room. Could do with changing to wooden flooring with it being pet friendly,it needs a good clean. loads of pots crockery,but was disappointed with the (enclosed back garden) there isn't one only a bit of decking so not safe for a large dog..also the location was too far out for us there is no pubs,restaurants nearby unless you drive into whitby.

A lovely cottage in a beautiful location, with lovely views. A few steps from the viaduct with an easy 25 minute walk into Whitby town. There is plenty to do in the area. The cottage was spacious, clean and well equipped, the beds comfortable. The area was quiet, the WIFI worked well. the only minor suggestion is that the bath/shower combo could do with a grab handle for those with a little less mobility.
