Guests say

Bluebell Cottage is highly praised for its thoughtful touches, including welcome packages and useful information provided by the owner, Julie. Guests find the cottage cosy, well-situated for exploring Yorkshire, and appreciate the local recommendations. While most reviews are positive, a few guests mention concerns about cleanliness and steep stairs.

Most guests found the cottage to be clean and tidy, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, one review highlighted issues with cleanliness, including a dirty toilet and hob, which suggests room for improvement.

The location is frequently commended for being perfect for exploring the surrounding areas, with easy access to local shops and attractions. It is described as well-situated for day trips and walking distance to amenities.

Guests describe the cottage as warm, cosy, and comfortable, with good facilities. The steepness of the stairs was a concern for some, particularly for those with mobility issues, but overall the comfort level is rated highly.

The cottage is well-equipped for guests' needs, with a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable living spaces. Some guests suggested improvements such as more seating and enclosed garden for dogs. The mention of a dishwasher on its last legs indicates a need for maintenance.

The owner's thoughtfulness is consistently mentioned, with welcome gifts for both guests and pets. While these gestures are greatly appreciated, it should be noted that such gifts, though delightful, are not guaranteed for every stay.

The stairs are quite steep, but manageable. Julie and Neil are so helpful. Am definitely booking in Spring. Lots to do in that area as well.

Good dog walks near by, local butchers excellent. Cottage was really comfortable and well equipped my only concern were the steps which were really steep and my dad struggled a little but otherwise everything was good thank you.
