Guests say

Guests consistently praise the Coble cottage for its cosiness, cleanliness, and convenient location near Saltburn by the Sea. The property is well-heated with ample hot water, and the kitchen is adequately equipped. The secure decked area is appreciated by dog owners, and the proximity to local attractions and walks is a highlight. The cottage's charm and the owner's attentiveness contribute to a highly recommended and repeat-worthy stay.

Reviewers frequently mention the cleanliness of the cottage, describing it as 'lovely and clean' and 'very clean and well presented,' indicating a high standard of cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for being close to the harbour, local shops, and attractions, with easy access to walking routes like the Cleveland Way. Its central position is appreciated, although one mention of limited disabled access to Staithes suggests a slight deduction.

Comfort is well-regarded, with guests finding the cottage cosy and the beds comfortable. However, a single mention of the beds being potentially small for taller individuals suggests a minor concern for some guests.

Facilities are generally commended, with mentions of a well-heated cottage and sufficient kitchen utensils. A few suggestions for additional kitchen items indicate room for improvement.

Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches like welcome biscuits and the provision of hot drinks. While these treats are warmly received, it's important to note that such gestures, though delightful, are not guaranteed.

Lovely cosy accommodation for a wet and windy October weekend. The cottage is well heated and has copious supply of hot water for a hot bathc after a walk along the coast. KItchen adequately supplied with utenisls and crockery, and it was nice to have some welcome biscuits (for both humans and doggy companion on arrival, plus the makings of hot drinks (tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk and sugar). Local shop not far away, amnd it's a short (if steep) walk down to the harbour. Highly recommended, and will no doubt be back again soon.....
