In an elevated position overlooking Balcary Bay in Auchencairn, this semi-detached property has fantastic, memorable views out to the sea. The cottage is set in a stunning position and enjoys uninterrupted views of the coast from every room and has coastal walks from the door. Situated close to 7Stanes mountain biking country, it is also ideal as a base to explore local history, with castles, abbeys, mansions and ruins, or the Machars Peninsula and the Galloway Hills. The historic cities of Edinburgh and Carlisle, cosmopolitan Glasgow and the north Lake District are easily reachable.

Our hosts were so helpful and thoughtful. Anything we'd asked was no trouble at all. The cottage was more cozy and the layout better than the photos show. A week wasn't long enough.

Just spent an excellent week at Balcary Mews. A stunning location and fantastic views. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful, even loaning out a couple of their dogs, and left a generous welcome pack. Fantastic walks from the cottage and a useful village shop nearby. Loved it!
