We had a fabulous week at Mountain Cross. The house and garden are perfect for a relaxing time with family. Plenty of space for kids to play safely and dog to run around. Home made cake, biscuits and jam awaiting on arrival. Pam the owner in touch before and during holiday to check everything ok and if we needed anything. Games and toys provided for all ages. Sky tv was a nice luxury including sports channels (good for the men). Overall the house is very well equipped and well kept. Even met the gardener who was very pleasant and keeps it looking fabulous.

Clean and comfortable house suitable for a variety of generations, pleanty space, fantastic views ,garden dog safe and secure.Convenient for many local walks and wild swimming locations.Our second visit and would go again.Very good hosts, you feel they really want you to enjoy your stay.

We had a wonderful stay. House was so clean & welcoming. Lots of room for everyone. Beautiful garden. Lovely walks around the area. So quiet & peaceful. The owner called before we arrived to see if there was anything she could help us with regarding the property & area we also had a call the day after we are just to make sure we were happy that was a lovely touch.
