Great unique accommodation in ideallic setting. Loved the quirkiness of this accommodation, amazing what can be done with such a space. The carriage itself could probably do with a bit a freshen up of facilities and could do with a deep clean but this was not off putting to us.It is well equipped for self catering accommodation, the only issue we had was that there was a problem with the wifi for the first half of our stay. The location is stunning, so peaceful and tranquil. Castle Douglas and Kirkcubright are very close by with plenty of cafes etc. Great area if you're travelling with dogs, so many places are very accommodating and welcoming for them.Overall we had a great relaxing week.

The Carriage was a great base for us as we explored the South West coast 300 route. It offers privacy and a unique “glamping” experience. It has everything you want or need to make it a home from home. The dog had plenty of room to run around the garden and bark without disturbing the owners. We would recommend this as a place to stay for families or even a romantic get away.
