Quietly situated on the edge of the pretty town of Moffat, this charming holiday cottage forms a wing of the owner’s home, and was once where the pony and trap were kept. It has now been transformed into a welcoming, cosy haven for two. The bright and spacious living room has a wood burner and French doors looking out to the garden and there is a small courtyard garden to the rear. Moffat has a thriving arts and music scene, a good range of local shops, pubs and restaurants and is ideal for hill walking being on the Southern Upland Way. Ideally placed for touring the area, Edinburgh and Glasgow are 50 miles, spectacular St Mary’s Loch, 30 miles, and the Grey Mare’s Tail waterfall is just 10 miles away, while Drumlanrig Castle, near Thornhill is within easy reach. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Beautiful holiday cottage. Stunning location. Home from home plus more. Such a warm and cosy cottage. Nice 10 minute walk into Moffat. Friendly people around. Great pubs for food and drinks. Plenty of local cafes

This is the second time my brother and I have stayed in Roseburn Cottage for a family get together so I guess that says it all. The cottage is very cosy and is well equipped with everything you might need, including a tea pot! It’s only a 10 minute walk into the centre of town with all its independent shops, restaurants and cafes. There are lots of lovely walks round about if you take your dog, as I did.

It was a lovely place and with in walking distance of the town centre . Just a little moan the shower room is a bit to small if your like me a bit on the big side , other than that it was fine .
