Situated in a good position close to Newton Stewart. A renovated farm building at the end of a bumpy farm track. Comfortable & warm, well equipped with an enclosed garden and hot tub. Good views from bedroom windows looking towards the Solway Firth & Galloway Hills. Owners live close by in main farm house and are friendly and helpful.

We stayed in this lovely cottage for a week in August. The cottage was spacious and attractive, the garden in particular with views to fields from the outdoor hot tub was lovely to spend time in. We were lucky to visit in warm weather but the cottage would be just as lovely and cosy in the winter, with the woodburner lit.The welcome we had was the best I've had on holiday as the owners were incredibly friendly and gracious with their time. We'd definitely recommend the cottage for a stay, as it felt like a home from home!

We all had a great time at the Dairy House. It was very clean when we arrived and Isabel and George were always helpful when needed. They provided fresh flowers on arrival and a welcome pack with some useful items (including scones, jam and clotted cream!). The hot tub has amazing, with views over the Galloway hills and a great place for stargazing after dark. The cottage was well equipped and surprisingly spacious. The farm is only 5 minutes drive from Newton Stewart and very close to the forest parks, which are Ideal for walking and cycling. We will definitely visit again.
