We had a wonderful stay at The Smiddy. Both the house and especially the garden were fantastic. The area is quiet with such interesting places to discover. We have holidayed by The Solway for the last four years and will return again and again. The hosts were most friendly and so accomodating. Can't praise the place highly enough

A beautiful cottage in a fabulous tranquil location. Whilst there are no amenities in the village this is obvious from the write up and was no issue to us.Our third year of visiting says a lot.
