Lovely spacious bungalow in a quiet cul-de-sac, just a 5 minute stroll from a long sandy beach. A very generous welcome pack was much appreciated. The village has a shop and pub/restaurant with other amenities about a 15 min drive away in Stranraer. Only negative is the crockery needs updating and restocking. It was fine for our party of 3 but larger groups may struggle. We would return if visiting the area again.

Absolutely loved this property, it was perfect for my 90 year old mum. The purpose of our weekend break was solely for my mum to relax before going to hospital for an operation next week. The cottage provided that relaxing space. The weather was lovely for most of our stay so we were able to sit out in the garden. The whole cottage is very tastefully decorated both inside and out. Location was fabulous, being so close to a lovely quiet beach was amazing for the dogs. It is also a really good base for exploring the stunning area of Dumfries and Galloway. I would love to come back for longer. We also went for a meal at the Tigh na Mara, where the staff, food and restaurant was 1st class.

A lovely well appointed bungalow. Very modern with three double bedrooms (1 twin). Lounge has smart TV with option to attach games console. All rooms have USB charging points. Warm, plenty of hot water. Somewhere to sit. Within walking distance of beach. Hotel has a takeout service for those of us who can't leave dogs in house. They delivered dead on time. Good food as well. Only 7 miles from Starnraer so could easily go shopping for food etc.
