The location is perfect for visiting local attractions, with thoughtful touches such as welcome gifts often mentioned. The proximity to a quiet campsite is noted but rarely detracts from enjoyment. The cottage offers a comfortable, relaxing base for families, couples, and dog owners alike.

Most guests found the cottage spotless, clean, and well-presented, with only a few isolated comments about the need for a deeper clean or minor issues such as a musty smell or dated bathrooms. Overall, cleanliness is a strong point.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, beautiful surroundings, and proximity to Skye's main attractions. Some mention the cottage is a little remote or north for their preference, but most found it an excellent base for exploring.

Guests frequently describe the cottage as cosy, warm, spacious, and comfortable, with good facilities for families and dogs. A few noted hard beds or beds unsuitable for taller guests, but comfort is generally rated very highly.

The cottage is well-equipped with modern appliances, a secure garden, and thoughtful extras. Minor issues such as heating, shower pressure, or outside lights were quickly addressed. Some bathrooms are described as dated, but overall facilities are excellent.

Many guests appreciated welcome gifts such as wine, chocolates, and dog treats, as well as toiletries and kitchen essentials. While these thoughtful touches are frequently mentioned, please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

Unfortunately my son and grandson were to tall for the beds and didn't sleep well at all . Ended up on the huge settee. I found the bed downstairs very hard . But other than that the house and garden were great . Everything you could wish for. Beautiful area on Skye plenty to keep you occupied. We ate at the little cafe next to the shop when we didn't cook . Twice we had dinner there very nice home made . Nothing posh but worth it for good food.

Clean, comfortable with everything we needed. Even special little welcoming gifts which was lovely. Communication was clear, friendly and helpful. We highly recommend!!!

Thank you for the kind welcoming gift of wine and chocolates. The good weather made the stay very enjoyable. The only down side was the smell of sewage from the little stream that ran through the grounds which on one or two occasions was a bit overpowering.
