The lodge is well placed for touring the area, with Jedburgh, Kelso and Melrose within a short drive. From my warm welcome to my end of stay chat with Val, I had a lovely holiday.

On arrival Val let me into the lodge and showed me around, it was windy and wet when I arrived with dog Millie, but the lodge was warm and cosy. We talked a bit and I said it was my birthday the following day. The bed was so comfortable and bedding had a nice fresh feel and fragrance. After being out and about the next day Val came to my door with a big slice of cake, a candle and a birthday card. What a thoughtful and appreciated gesture. The lodge is 1 min drive or 10 min walk away from St Boswells, where I took Millie every morning for a run about the green and woods. I was there on my own with the dog, but the lodge would comfortably cater for 4 people and couple of dogs. Absolutely no complaints and would definitely return.
