Situated in the quiet hamlet of Wiston near Biggar, and surrounded by the open hills of Scotlands beautiful Southern Uplands, this stylish semi-detached annexe is ideally located to enjoy the wonders of the open countryside, as well as having two vibrant cities within easy reach. Situated in substantial gardens alongside the owners grand Georgian villa - Duneaton House, this quaint single-storey annexe provides a romantic rural retreat, perfect for two. Thoughtfully styled and furnished, the cottage has a cosy double bedroom and a shower room. The comfortable sitting room boasts a woodburning stove and French windows opening onto the shared walled garden. With Tinto Hill dominating the view from the garden to the rear, and open views of the Southern Uplands to the front, Sweetpea Cottage offers unrivalled opportunities for walking and cycling. The busy market town of Biggar is attractive and has a pleasant collection of shops, cafes and pubs and the Clyde Valley beyond is home to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of New Lanark. With both Glasgow and Edinburgh within easy reach and well worth exploring, this is a wonderful romantic retreat for a relaxing or activity-filled holiday. EPC Rating: Band C
