Failte gu Taigh na Beadan is Gaelic for “Welcome to the Big Mans House”. Wake up to a picture postcard view form the sunroom, step outside and smell the clean fresh air of the Island and the sea, listen to the birdsong, the bleating sheep and look out for the seals in the loch. There is something for all the family, fishing, kayaking or paddleboarding on the loch whilst others watch form the comfort of the cottage!
A short drive will take you to a number of lovely beaches the Islands have to offer, chat to the fishermen at the harbours and get some freshly caught seafood for dinner. At night you can put the fire on and plan for the next day. There is plenty room for four adults or a family of six (with two young children to share the twin bedroom) and not forgetting the dog! You will find a special place in your heart for the Outer Hebrides & this is why people return. Beach 5 miles.

We loved staying here. Wonderful views from the sun room across the bay surrounded by mountains. Bedrooms were very comfortable and two of them also had great views out to the wonderful scenery. Some fantastic walks and beaches that rivalled those in the Caribbean for white shell sand and blue sea. Locals were very helpful, especially those in the village shop. We found having a car was a necessity to enjoy the area. At the end of the day it was so lovely to come back to a welcoming living room that also looked out across the bay.
