About this property

The Bay is a gorgeous, contemporary, ground floor holiday apartment with underfloor heating. Located on the west coast of Anglesey, in the seaside village of Trearddur Bay, there are beautiful coastal walks, beaches, pubs and Trearddur Bay's newest eaterie, The Black Seal, within easy walking distance.

The modern, well equipped kitchen, has an electric oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, washer/drier, microwave and 4 slice toaster. There is a dining table and chairs, and a large L shaped sofa provides a generous seating area with a Samsun SMART TV, Blue Tooth speaker and bifold patio doors opening on to a patio with furniture.

There are two bedrooms. A double with a king size bed and Samsung SMART TV, and a twin room. Both rooms have an ensuite shower room with a shower, loo, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.

There is also a separate loo and wash hand basin located just off the hall.

Outside there is a patio area with furniture, and two allocated parking bays.

This is a lovely corner of North Wales. As well as spending your time building sand castles and walking along the coastal path you can also visit South Stack Lighthouse and RSPB reserve, or go windsurfing, sailing, horse riding, fishing or play golf nearby.

Guests should be aware that while there is wifi at The Bay it can be intermittent on occasion.

Trearddur Bay is situated on the western shore of Holy Island. It’s truly beautiful - a great sweep of low grassy coastline indented with rocky coves and fine sandy beaches (European Blue Flag). Watersports, bathing, sailing and windsurfing are the main activities in the summer months and golfers will enjoy the excellent Holyhead 18 hole links golf course. It’s a great place for nature lovers with renowned birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse rspb Reserve and lots of rock pools and cliff top walks to explore. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in Trearddur Bay itself and nearby Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities, including a very good leisure centre, an interesting harbour front, a marina, the world’s second longest breakwater and exciting day trips to Dublin on the ferry. The Maritime Museum in Holyhead has an excellent cafe and the beautiful Holyhead Breakwater Country Park has walks for you to enjoy. Further afield there is the stunning Newborough with its excellent woodland and beach and Beaumaris with its town and castle. A great location with plenty to see and do!

36am every morning, which woke us up, the stay was great. The apartment is lovely, the location excellent and the locality superb to relax.

30 pm are too strict times to get out/in. There should be more generous times in favour of the holiday maker. Had a problem with the electric hob. Rang Menai early evening but no reply - closed!! Not very good customer service. When we arrived home on May 3rd message on our answer machine from Menai to say someone would be visiting the property between 10 am and 11 am on April 27. How do you expect us to action this message when we were in Anglesey? Again poor PR.

A couple of things for housekeeping to note: The cups we went to use were not clean. The inside of the cupboards would benefit a wipe over. There was hardly any toilet roll in any of the 3 bathrooms. The toilet cistern in the main bedroom makes a dripping noise which during the night when quiet is particularly annoying. We had to keep getting up and giving the flush button a twist to stop it. The rug in the lounge area was grubby. It needs a good shake and a vac or brush on it. The windows in the lounge need cleaning, when the sun shines they looked filthy. We are not picky guests but if we dint feed this back guests will start to complain and we would not want that as you really provide a lovely place to stay.
