The annual Sheep Festival, held in September each year to honour droving, sheep farming, and the wool industry, is not to be missed. Llandovery is in a great position, with amenities around for every taste. A 20-minute drive away, the village of Llandeilo is a charming market town with a nice range of unique gift stores, restaurants, and pubs.
